– Project Overview –
7 Sisters Vineyard is a fictional vineyard located in Santa Maria California. The inspiration behind the name and concept is the 7 sisters constellation, otherwise known as Pleiades, and the Greek mythology that goes along with the constellation. Each type of wine is named after one of the stars in the constellation (one of the sisters).
– Design Process –
Logos
The logo incorporates the number 7 and the shape of the constellation with the seven stars surrounding it. The logo can be used with or without the “sisters vineyard” type underneath. It was designed this way so the logo would be able to be used in a variety of settings.
Sublogos & Motifs
Sublogos and other branding imagery was created to help extend and elevate the brand. The motifs help keep the visual identity of the brand consistent throughout all the marketing collateral.
Wine Bottle Design
The idea behind the wine bottles was that each wine was named after one of the stars in the constellation, and was assigned a color to make it easier to tell which wine was which on the shelves. The foil at the top of each bottle has the color, as well as the star in the constellation that corresponds with the wine’s name, to further tie into the constellation theme.
